The GetCircular project responds to the urgent need to promote sustainable practices among students, teachers, and parents across all education levels in Greece and Bulgaria. It supports the transition to a resource-efficient and low-carbon economy by embedding circular economy principles and responsible consumption into everyday life. The project’s overarching goal is to raise awareness of sustainable household waste management and implement pilot actions aligned with the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and economic.
By introducing practical tools such as composters and recycling equipment, and creating a transnational network for knowledge exchange, the project supports the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient economy. Ultimately, GetCircular aims to build a community that actively adopts sustainable behaviors and contributes to long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
