Interreg: Five Borders, Twenty-Six Regions, One Shared Europe | 90th TIF
The General Secretariat of Partnership Agreement (Ministry of Economy and Finance) and the Managing Authority Interreg 2021-2027 are pleased to announce the upcoming event “Interreg: Five Borders, Twenty-Six Regions, One Shared Europe”, in the framework of the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). The event will take place on 6 September 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 (local time), at Pavilion 13 of TIF Helexpo.
The event is dedicated to the five Interreg cross-border programmes managed by the Managing Authority Interreg 2021-2027: Greece-Albania, Greece-Bulgaria, Greece-Cyprus, Greece-Italy and Greece-North Macedonia.
Five borders, 26 regions and one shared ambition: to turn the challenges we face together into opportunities for cooperation, joint solutions and tangible results for local communities.
Through five stories of cross-border cooperation, the event will showcase the power of Interreg projects and their tangible impact on people’s lives and on the development of local areas.
The event will also explore the prospects for European Territorial Cooperation beyond 2027, opening the discussion on the future of cooperation across borders.
Because cooperation can turn shared challenges into shared solutions. When we cooperate across borders, we build a more connected and stronger Europe.
