Two (2) Info Days were organised by the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme INTERREG VI-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2021-2027”, in the frame of the 1st Call for Common Project Proposals, which was launched on February 12th 2024 and will close on March 27th 2024.
The two Info Days were hybrid and were attended by more than 300 participants. More specific:
– the first Info Day was organised at the Chamber of Evros, in Alexandroupolis (Greece), on the 22nd of February and was attended by 151 participants (55 in person and 96 online)
– the second Info Day was organised in the Hall “22 September” of the Municipality of of Blagoevgrad, in Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria), on the 27th of February 2024 and was attended by 162 participants (88 in person and 74 online).
The Info Day in Blagoevgrad was launched with welcome speeches delivered by:
– the Mayor of Blagoevgrad, Mr. Metodi Bykushev
– the Regional Governor of Balgoevgrad, Ms. Maria Dimova
– the National Authority of the Programme – Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Milen Obretenov, Director of the Territorial Cooperation Management Directorate at the MRDPW
The MA/JS would like to thank the Chamber of Evros and the Municipality of Blagoevgrad for their hospitality, as well as the attendees/potential applicants for their participation and wish them good luck in the submission of their project proposals.
